Our 4 yo DD is having her Mother's Day Out Christmas presentation tomorrow. Ashleigh kicks things off with a line to explain what Christmas is. She's supposed to say, "C is for the Christ child, born on Christmas day." She does a good job of it.
But, here's where I've been having a little fun. I've been teaching her what Cookie Monster says C is for… so she now says her line, and then, "And, C is for Cookie, that's good enough for me."
So, tomorrow, I'm scared and hoping that she'll do both, much to the chagrin of her teacher, and much to my delight, that is, until Kari slaps the snot out of me for teaching Ashleigh to go off the script.
