I just finished my One-To-One at NorthPark on Photoshop Elements here in Dallas. The update for iTunes seven is available for download on your Mac–just go to the Apple icon and do check updates.
I've connected the phone to it and tried to get into 2.0 but it's not updating, yet. The word there was that I, we, should keep checking throughout the day.
NorthPark Apple Store people are supposed to begin at 6 a.m. tomorrow. The store opens at 8. They're all working 12-hour shifts and it will remain open until 11 p.m. tomorrow night. Security on the phones is so tight, not even the employees have been able to touch one yet. The phones are in the back, in a cage, with a black cover over it.
I have been told that www.macrumors.com/2008/07/10/iphone-2-0-firmware-5a347-available-early/ will get you to an early firmware version of 2.0, but they also caution you to download at your own risk.
What's 24-hours, or actually, less?
