Well, seems the unintended consequences of the Nebraska haven law where you can drop your kid off and walk away care-free are causing enough of a fuss, the governor has said, don't bring your kids there to leave em. "Please don't bring your teenager to Nebraska," Gov. Dave Heineman told
CNN. "Think of what you are saying. You are saying you no longer
support them. You no longer love them."
Well, yeah, I think that's the message parents are sending to their kids. Really, if a parent is willing to fly to Nebraska to leave their kid, that is how they feel.
Well, that's what we get with a crazy law like this. I'm not sure the gov's comments were much more helpful.
If you don't want kids, most adults and doctors now know what keep that from happening in the first place. And if you're bold enough to play with that fire, then it's your responsibility. Hello.
