My dad is headed back home from AZ by way of Dallas and then Montgomery, AL, before turning north on I-65 to go back to Northern IN. It will be good to see him, as we haven't since Christmas.
Dad said the other night that one of the things he does want me to do is take him by the Apple Store. Woo hoo, maybe I have another convert.
This past weekend, Kari and I went to the Apple Store on University in Fort Worth. Nice store with lots of room. I got my hands on one of the new MacBooks with the touchpad that doesn't have a button. I'd seen comments about how it might take some time to learn how to use it. How long did it take? No time. The glass touchpad is a lot smoother than what I have on my 17 inch MB Pro. I liked the new machine, but I'm not in a position to even think about buying a new one right now.
Kari and I are working hard to keep order among our seven kids. That's not easy and for some reason of late it's seemed harder and harder. We can't excactly say why, either.
I'm looking forward to some time with my Dad Thursday. And I'm looking at starting a few new projects this weekend. Much to think about.
