In 1992, Gov. Guy Hunt's Chief of Staff Dennis Nabors brought me and one other to New York to eat one night on a break from the NGA meeting at Princeton. One place we couldn't find was Umberto's Clam House, which I've told people about ever since. We wound up at The River Cafe instead. Well today, 16 years later I found it, though in Little Italy in the Bronx. It was at Arthur and 186th. Maybe some day I can eat there.
