Tomorrow evening at 6 p.m. in front of our house, I'll take my place on the seat of Santa's Sleigh as seen below and begin the season of the 12 Nights of Christmas in Balch Springs, TX.
You're free to bring your kids by to see Santa. Bring a camera, too, if you'd like to snap a few pictures of them for keepsakes. If you're hard-pressed, don't have a nice camera, etc. just let me know, and I think we can help you out. We want you to come away from our house with fond memories and a happiness in the hearts of your children. That's our goal.
If you're in the giving spirit, we're also excepting unwrapped toys or gift certificates to give to the Balch Springs Santa Cop program. We'll make sure they all get to the police department and that you get the credit for giving something special for a little boy or girl who otherwise would go without this holiday season.
So, the front yard is almost ready. We still need to put up a live tree inside and then put together our 4 x 8 foot train track that goes around the tree, but we'll get to that in the days to come.
In the meantime, please join us tomorrow night, or Saturday night or any of the future nights we've planned for. Load up the car and come see the magic of Christmas that's alive and well in Balch Springs, Texas. We think you'll be glad you did.
(The address is 14801 N. Spring Ridge Circle, Balch Springs, TX.)
