It's still early and North Texas weather prognosticators are famous for being wrong–for instance, non of them predicted the snow to fall this a.m. except one I heard this past weekend, and then never heard another word about it.
But this Friday night at 6 p.m. in front of our beautiful house here in Balch Springs, TX, Santa Claus returns for two hours to warm the hearts of boys and girls whose parents bring them by. And because it's expected to be cold this Friday night, Santa has told me that we'll have some hot chocolate to offer as well as come cookies to treat those who venture past our house, which is located at 14801 N. Spring Ridge Circle.
We welcome you to bring the whole family. Grandma, too. It will bring back some happy memories for her, especially when Santa tells her to come sit on his lap, too!
And don't forget we're asking parents who do come to think about bringing an unwrapped toy or gift certificate we can contribute to the Balch Springs Police Department's Santa Cop program.
The kids who showed last week had a blast. Just look at the swath of kids in the photo above. This is part of the magic of Christmas and the way our family gives back to our community. We hope you'll take the time to make a special trip to our house. You'll be glad you did.
