For those of you keeping track, ATT.NET on my Mac is down this morning.  AGAIN!

Guess I have to reload the account again in Mac Mail.    ATT-U-Verse, this email issue REALLY SUCKS.  (For those of you just coming here the first time, if you’ve not already called them and told them to unblock port 995, and it’s gone down again, just follow these directions and delete the ATT.NET account in Preferences.)

It should look something like this.  Don’t worry. It’s okay to delete the account.  Just remember your user name and your password first!  Of course, if you can’t remember them, you’re not much worse off than you are now seeing as the darn thing isn’t working.

It’s now time to reload the account.

That should get you to something that looks like this after under your list of email accounts, you press the button +.

You’ll then have to re-enter your user name and password.

In the end, it should look like this as you finish the steps to reload:

This is the only way I know how to keep fixing this reoccurring problem that AT&T can’t seem to figure out, or doesn’t care to.  I have yet to decide which it is.  Your best bet of anything with a Mac is simply to have a MobileMe account, or as you can see, like I have, bought domains and set up accounts off the AT&T boxes.
