Did you know that on your average toilet seat there are about 49 germs per square inch?

Did you know on that ink pen you’ve got sitting there on the desk, behind your ear or in your purse there are about 2,400 germs per square inch?

Same thing for that stylus you use when you’re at the check out counter at the grocery, Wal-mart, Target, just about anywhere.

There are germs in the world.  Lots of them.

Comes now a company out of the Austin-area of Texas called Cleanint.   They have two exciting products already on the market that combat the problems mentioned above.

The first is called Cleanpen.  With this simple little gadget, one just runs an ink pen through the apparatus.  If the pen sits inside it for 30 seconds it kills about 99 percent of the germs on the surface of the pen according to the manufacturer.  Just zipping it through will kill about 85 percent of the germs.

Their second product is called Cleanstylus.  This ingenious attachment affixes to a checkout counter credit card swiper and holds the stylus in it.  Same deal on the timelines to kill germs. You’ll see it in the video, they’re not available yet off the Cleanint Web site.

As you’ll see from the attached video, these are easy to use products.  If you wanted to keep a Cleanpen in your purse that’s easy.

Did you know that most ink pens get circulated to about 8 different people in their “lifetimes?”

I don’t think it’s really necessary to go into what happens when one passes germs.

What I would like to do is make a few of these Cleanpens available to my readers and let you try them out and write a review.  If you’d like to try it out, please DM me on Twitter.
