Time to pack and head back to Dallas. You don't realize how much you need WiFi until you go visit somewhere where it's not available for free in a shop on every corner. That's made keeping in touch a real challenge. Not to mention that AT&T says they still don't have a USB wireless card that will talk to Snow Leopard. (Don't you think six months is long enough to go before you guys figure that out?!) They say their cards will work on Max OSX 10.4 and later. I'm running 10.6.2. Come on, AT&T, live in the now.
Okay, I'm off to scour mom's house to ensure we pack up all the things the girls have unloaded. Myself included. And then in the words of Lobo, "another tank of gas, and back on the road again."
It was good to see friends and family in Montgomery. It's also good to be heading back to the same in DFW.
(LOL: Mom doesn't have a wireless router. I've been coasting off of one of her neighbor's WiFi systems that isn't locked. Can you imagine sending your signal out to the neighborhood and not having a key on it? I can't either, but I'm glad they did. It does, however, drop out every so often.)
Okay, gotta go. Was thinking about stopping in Vicksburg with the girls to see the Civil War stuff but it's getting too late in the day to be stopping and adding more time to the trip.
