The boys, Ashleigh and I were able to build a snowfort yesterday in the front yard from the massive snow fall here Thursday. We named the fort Ricky’s Rook, a name a dear friend of mine used for one for his son back in Northern Michigan back in 1978. We didn’t have extra rooms in this one like we did in Michigan–the snow was melting and we just wanted to get it up and decorated before it was too late.
So here it is. Marc, we hope this means something special to you, too.
It’s all but melted now. It was about 46 degrees today and things in Texas are getting back to normal.
But here is a record of what was. And the chances are great that one of my four kids will build the next one. I just hope it isn’t another 30 years before the next one gets built.
