On my Alexa bar this morning was a URL headline: Domestic Dispute: I almost went to jail. My Blackberry saved my ass.
I’ve been almost in this place before on more than one occasion.
God, I hated reading this thread, but the overall deduction from my own personal experiences and the commentors are this: The Family Court system in this country needs an overhaul and we need to get back to the premise that everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The same goes for police officers answering domestic violence/disturbance calls. IT’S NOT ALWAYS THE GUY’S FAULT. I don’t know why that’s so hard to comprehend. And when you throw in a manipulative, prophetic and chronic liar in the equation, well, things can get bad in a hurry.
I’m glad the guy recorded the conversations. I’ve done a little bit of that on my own. Still have some put away too if they’re ever needed.
(The language used by some of the commentors is not necessary, but it does help to show the intensity of this subject.)
