Hello and welcome to DaddyClaxton.com.  This website is owned and operated by Claxton Creative, LLC, a public relations, social media and marketing firm located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas.

DaddyClaxton.com initially was created under the name of The Dads Center back in 2004.  As more and more children came into the life of Mr. Claxton, the name Daddy became more suitable, and since he was also referred to as a the fabled character in the 1930s song, The Wabash Cannonball, Mr. Claxton adopted the name for him personally.

    Hey Donny,

I don’t know if you remember me, but my name is Jon Owen and I was the worship leader at Vaughn Park back in the day when you were there.

I was looking for an image for the Courageous movie and it brought me to your blog.

Love your blog and your business. Very cool stuff. I’m still in ministry, but do a lot of creative content, social media stuff myself, so I’m somewhat of a fan boy of what you do.

I’m about 3 weeks into a new blog myself and have miles to go before I sleep.

Anyway, just thought I’d say hello. And if you don’t remember me, then by all means ignore the crazy guy emailing you. 🙂

Grace & peace from an old friend OR stranger…

    jon

Of course I remember you, Jon. And thanks for your comments. Glad you’re interested in Courageous. I’ve seen it three times now, one of them with Mitch when he was here in Dallas screening it back in May or June.
